The Avatar Earth Cremation Urns is handcrafted and hand-thrown. This beautiful cremation urn is burnished to achieve a smooth finish, and then Raku fired, which gives the urn it's rich colors and spontaneous patterns. The urn lid features a found-object finial and deep flange which helps in sealing the piece (if desired). Because of the handmade nature, no two urns made in this style will ever be the same, ensuring the vessel will be as unique as the person it memorializes.
Top opening lid features a deep flange, for a secure closure, but could be sealed with adhesive or silicone caulking facilitating easy removal at a future date.
