Product Description:
The Navy Journey Biodegradable Cremation Urn (medium) is perfect for ocean or deep water burial. These biodegradable urns are engineered to float momentarily and then gracefully sink. Once on the ocean floor, the urn will break down naturally over time.
Each Urn includes a water soluble plastic bag which dissolves on contact with water, allowing the cremated remains to be dispersed within minutes. They are handmade using a centuries old papermaking technique. The bark from the mulberry tree is harvested, leaving the tree alive and intact. After the bark is soaked, the resulting pulp is laid out on bamboo screens, often with floral material inlaid, and dried in the sun. Once dry the paper is used to create our beautiful and earth-friendly urns, which will break down in water or soil.
No trees are cut down to manufacture this product.

TESTIMONIALS
"The Freedom Veteran Cremation Urn with the U.S. Army medallion was beautiful and a memorial worthy of my husband. He was very proud of his military service and his remains were buried in a VA National Cemetery here in Florida, with full honors, so this was a perfect memorial. It was also several hundred dollars less expensive than a comparable wood urn was at the local Cremation Society. The rosewood box was made out of a beautiful, high quality wood, and along with the professional-looking U.S. Army medallion and engraving, looked very elegant. It was just what I had envisioned for my husband's remains. My husband was a heart transplant recipient, and due to his long-term critical health problems, our family is near destitute. But with the beautiful and high quality wood urn that I purchased from you for his burial, I was able to get it at a low cost without sacrificing quality or elegance. My close girlfriend referred me to you. She had used your online company previously when her husband died and was very pleased. When I was trying to survive a loss like this one, I did not want to have to deal with any funeral homes, who you also don't trust to give you a good reasonable price. I also had time constraints, but the wood urn arrived even a day earlier than promised. Thank you for everything...... Patricia Batista-Hedges, wife 08-26-2009"
