The Topaz Dichroic Cremation Ash Pendant is hand crafted from glass into a stunning lampwork bead that will hold the precious ashes of your loved one. The bead is made by melting the glass with a torch at temperatures over 2000 degrees, and carefully wrapping it around a steel rod. Because of the high temperatures used, the carbon in the ashes is burned off, making them appear a brilliant white color in the glass bead. After it has been formed and fused with the ashes of your loved one, the bead is then annealed, or slowly cooled in a kiln, to ensure durability and strength. The ashes will appear to be gracefully suspended in the bead, along with dichroic accents throughout, for a simply breathtaking memorial pendant. Select your choice of either sterling silver or a gold plated finish for the bail, to add the elegant final touch to your pendant. The handmade nature of these wonderful beads ensures that no two will ever look identical, ensuring a pendant that is as unique as the person it memorializes.
