Dignified & solid; A lasting memorial
"The colors of the two green marble urns we purchased, were lovely. Slightly different as natural marble will be, they each had tones of dark to light mossy green, with some gray and black tones and white veining or striations throughout.
They are very heavy, which I like, as I think this makes them seem more substantial and permanent.
These were a wonderful memorial to my husband's mother, who wanted cremation, and we were able to give one to his brother for his family to keep.
She was not able to be buried in the family plot as she asked in her will, as we suddenly discovered shortly after her death that, due to lack of space in the centuries-old cemetery and other restrictions the number of burials permitted per grave, we would have to find (and FAST), another way to honor her memory.
It was a difficult and confusing time for us, as in addition, she died suddenly and unexpectedly; it was wonderful to have at least this one thing go exactly as planned, and for the entire ordering process from beginning to end, to go so smoothly.
Our funeral home in Ohio was glad to work with us in getting these urns to them, even though we were in Pennsylvania and the items came from elsewhere. They had no trouble incorporating these urns into the memorial ceremony we requested, on such short notice. Everyone at the memorial complimented them, and commented on them.
It may be a bit crass to say so, but our original funeral director wanted $500 each for two of these and then we'd have to pay transport and other costs built into the funeral package they were offering.
I am so very glad I went online to find these marble urns, myself."T. Coleman
Marble Urn
"The marble urn was just what I was looking for. I'd searched many other sites and none had anything comparable. Shipping was very fast and the urn was expertly packaged."Rebeca L.
