Our biodegradable cast paper cremation urns are designed for water or land burial. Every urn is handmade with care for each customer. A biodegradable bag is included for containment until placement can be done. They can be coated with a protective finish for placement in a niche or on permanent display. When used for scattering at sea, the urn begins to sink in ten to fifteen minutes, and the structural breakdown is approximately 1 to 2 days depending on the type of the body of water. For land burial, a complete breakdown of the material will occur within a year (depending on climate).
